At Illuminate Montessori Fairfax, we provide an authentic Montessori education that nurtures independence, confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Serving children from 16 months through 6 years of age, our carefully prepared Montessori environments support each stage of development and empower children to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.

Head of School

Carla R. Dominguez Campos

Carla R. Dominguez Campos is the Head of School at Illuminate Montessori at Fairfax, bringing five years of Montessori education experience and 10 years of leadership in sales, marketing, and business development at Kimberly-Clark.

A MACTE-accredited Montessori educator, she has served as a Montessori Guide, Interim Head of School, and Head of School, combining her educational expertise with strategic leadership to create nurturing, high-quality learning environments. She is passionate about authentic Montessori education and believes every child deserves the opportunity to develop independence, confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Carla is committed to supporting educators, building strong partnerships with families, and leading with integrity, collaboration, and excellence.

We welcome families year-round based on program availability. We encourage interested families to schedule a tour to experience our Montessori environment firsthand, meet our leadership team, and learn more about our programs.
