Head of School

Cady Alexandra

Cady Alexandra is the Head of School at Illuminate Montessori Chantilly. Cady previously served as Assistant Head of School at Chantilly before taking maternity leave in July 2025 to welcome her twins, Charlotte and Rebecca.

After returning to work in November, she supported another nearby campus before returning home to Chantilly. She is grateful to be back in a community that has always meant so much to her both professionally and personally.

Cady holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a K–6 teaching license and brings over 12 years of experience in both public and early childhood education. Her teaching background spans Infant, Primary, Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, and ESL classrooms. She also brings four years of experience in school leadership, where she has focused on building strong teams, supporting teachers, and creating environments where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn.

She is passionate about fostering strong partnerships between families and schools and believes deeply in creating a warm and connected community where every child is supported as an individual learner.

Cady is also a Montessori parent. Her son Tristan is part of the Spanish Immersion program at Chantilly, and her twins Charlotte and Rebecca are currently in the Nido classroom. This experience as both an educator and a parent gives her a unique perspective on the importance of trust, communication, and consistency in a child’s early years.

She is especially excited to work alongside her team to continue strengthening classrooms, supporting teachers, and elevating the experience for children and families.

Outside of school, Cady enjoys reading, swimming, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is honored to lead the Chantilly community and looks forward to continuing to build strong relationships with families, supporting staff, and guiding the school into its next chapter.
